Is Nella Clinically Validated?

An IRB-approved trial of the Nella products with 143 women concluded in June 2017. The VIOLET Study established the safety of our products and validated the benefits for both patients and clinicians.

Can I sterilize the Nella KIND Reusable the same way I reprocess my other reusable devices?

Yes, Nella Kind Reusable is validated to be sterilized through the following methods: Steam Autoclave Sterilization, Ethelene Oxide Sterilization, STERRAD Sterilization. Please see the Instructions for Use for complete information.

Can I use the Nella for LEEPs?

Yes, you can use Nella for LEEP procedures.

Can I use the VuSleeve with the Nella?

Yes, you can Use VuSleeve with the Nella NEXT Speculum.

How many times can I reprocess Nella KIND Reusable?

Nella has been designed with a material validated up to 1,000 autoclave cycles. The device should be inspected before ea ch use to ensure device integrity. There is no shelf life for the Nella.

What is the warranty of the Nella KIND Reusable?

Ceek offers a 1 year warranty on manufacturing defects.

How do I dispose of the Nella KIND Single Use and Nella NEXT Single Use?

Dispose of Nella KIND like you would any other biohazard waste.

Can I use the VuLight on metal and plastic specula?

Yes, VuLight fits most common metal and plastic specula.

Can I use the VuLight for Procedures?

Yes, you can use VuLight for most procedures.

Can I use VuLight when I use an electrocautery device (e.g. Bovie)?

Yes, you can use VuLight for most procedures using an electrocautery device.

Is the VuLight sterile?

No, the VuLight is provided individually packaged from a clean manufacturing environment.

Can I sterilize the VuLight prior to use?

Ceek has not tested the VuLight for use in any sterilization method.

Can I get more of a discount if I commit to a volume purchase per month?

Yes, Ceek offers a subscription plan with volume discount pricing.

How long will the VuLight last?

VuLight will give you maximum light performance for approximately 1 hour then it will gradually start to fade.

How do I turn off the VuLight?

You cannot turn off the VuLight once the tab is pulled. It will slowly dim and turn off completely once the battery is used up.

Can I discard of the VuLight in the trash or incinerate?

Yes, please refer to the IFU and dispose of it in accordance with the local regulations

What type of battery does the VuLight use?

Lithium-Manganese Dioxide Button Cell Battery.

What is the shelf-life?

2 years from date of manufacturing.

What is this powdery stuff on the VuSleeve?

It is a medical grade starch to help with the application.

What material is the VuSleeve made from? Is it latex?

It is latex free and made from a medical grade silicone.

Is the VuSleeve sterile?

No, the VuSleeve is provided individually packaged from a clean manufacturing environment.

Can I sterilize the VuSleeve prior to use?

Ceek has not tested the VuSleeve for use in any sterilization method.

Can I use the VuSleeve on metal and plastic specula?

Yes, VuSleeve fits most common metal and plastic vaginal specula (Pederson and Graves).

Can I use the VuSleeve for Procedures?

Yes, you can use VuSleeve for most procedures including LEEP, Hysteroscopy and colposcopy. It also helps prevent side wall tissue damage during LEEP procedures.

How far down do I place it on the speculum?

Make sure 5-10mm of the speculum’s bill are exposed on the distal end to allow for easier opening.

Can I use lubrication on the VuSleeve prior insertion?

Yes, you should use lubrication on the VuSleeve. You can use water based lubricant on top of the VuSleeve once it is applied to the speculum, making sure to avoid the distal end of the sleeve. Do not use lubrication directly on the speculum before applying the VuSleeve.

Will the VuSleeve roll back or come off the speculum inside the patient?

The VuSleeve is designed to stay in place, with rib details on the distal end to prevent it from rolling back. When removing the VuSleeve, grasp the bead on the proximal end of the sleeve to ensure the VuSleeve is removed with the speculum.

Can VuSleeve be used with vertical adjustment in use?

Yes, you can use the articulation or elevation (vertical adjustment) on the speculum.
